It's FINALLY here! The SACCS is now available for measuring progress on Communication Core Skills for Grades 3-5.
Just like the K-2 version, all score forms and progress monitoring grids are reproducible and available at no cost on our website for download.
Based on the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts & Literacy in History/Social Studies, Science, and Technical Subjects for grades 3, 4, and 5 (National Governors Association, 2010), the SACCS: 3-5 is designed for use by speech-language pathologists to identify student strengths and needs and document progress on Speaking and Listening and Language Skill Areas.
Student skills are surveyed at each grade level (3, 4 and 5) through a variety of tasks including classroom observation, spontaneous language assessment, individually administered listening tasks, and individually administered speaking tasks.
