Katie Stevenson is an illustrator, painter, sculptor, designer, and educator.
A Danbury, CT resident, Katie paints, sculpts and does printmaking in a variety of media including oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolors, handmade paper, and clay.
As professional artist, Katie has designed hundreds of products including stationery, book covers, greeting cards, collectible figurines, and decorative accessories.
Working with children and young adults is one of Katie’s most rewarding pursuits. For over 25 years, Katie has created and led a variety of art programs and workshops in many libraries across Connecticut . She is also a volunteer at Green Chimneys School in Brewster, NY, working with children with emotional, behavioral, social and learning challenges.
Her background includes: Paier School of Art, University of Hartford Art School, Silvermine School of Art, Connecticut Graphics Arts Workshops, and the School of Visual Arts, New York City.
